it starts

Semester break that is. Most of the kids stayed at school for just the first couple hours and now only the kindergarteners are gone. It's windy, sunny and cold and all the good snow has melted. I slept at Casa Nadia last night as we're trying to keep at least two people there at all times since Daniel has come back. So far he's been pretty well behaved, but he hasn't had any huge demands placed on him. This weekend he's going home with Mama Mariana, the cook. It's only the first day of vacation and I've already heard twice, "I'm bored." I told them if I hear it again I'll send them upstairs and give them something to do. I'm here all day today and tomorrow so educators can have a little break too.
