calling all prayer warriors
this was my latest email to my sponsors and prayer warriors:
I know that I am guilty for not praying often enough for our kids here at Livada Orphan Care, but I am calling out for your help and for your prayers. I feel like we are in over our heads. It seems like daily, the kids from Casa Ana and Nadia are getting caught stealing, lying, skipping school, and today buying alcohol. Praise the Lord that they are getting caught, but it all seems to be multiplying and it’s exhausting. I’m not even sure what to ask you to pray for right now…perhaps recognition of sin, repentance, fear of God, respect for authority, and wisdom and perseverance for those of us working with them and making decisions.
A great praise is that things are in progress for Daniel Simon. By the grace of God, an enormous amount of money has been raised for his care for the next year, including a radical therapeutic program. Pray for God’s staff to be found, as well as all the other details to fall into place. I know that God wants to bring healing to Daniel’s life; please continue to pray with us for this miracle.
The school year is coming to an end and our summer camps are just weeks away. Pray for our construction staff and the two teams that are coming this month work productively. Nothing is to hard for the Lord!
